Abstract

We report on a 20-month-old infant with a complicated lung and liver abscess caused by Pasteurella multocida after the child had been in close contact with a domestic cat. Surgical drainage confirmed lung and liver abscesses connected to each other, with involvement of the diaphragm. (c) 2006 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
