Abstract
UV-spectrophotometric method has been developed to estimate alpha-tocopherol acetate in tablets and soft capsules. The lambdamax was found to be 285 nm in ethanol and isopropanol. The percentage error was found to be 2 to 7 in alpha-tocopherol acetate preparations whilst this increases in multivitamin preparations.Entities:
