Abstract
Postoperative urinary retention following anti-incontinence surgery has traditionally been thought to be due to overcorrection. There is increasing evidence, however, that a neurogenic component may also play a significant role. This is a case report of a 72-year-old woman who developed delayed partial urinary retention following a tension-free vaginal tape which resolved with initial sacral neuromodulation.Entities:
