Abstract

Appendicitis after appendectomy is rare and most often is due to incomplete appendectomy-stump appendicitis. Prophylactic appendectomy is rarely conducted as opposed to incidental appendectomy. The author focuses on the possibility of such an event by using an anecdotal case report and imagination.
