Abstract
[reaction: see text] The addition of aryl- and heteroarylboronic acids to azo compounds is described. Copper salt catalysis was necessary to perform the reaction under mild conditions and high yields. Excellent regioselectivity was observed in addition to unsymmetrical azo compounds.Entities:
