Abstract
This case control investigation of hepatitis C risk factors in Hawaii showed that IV drug use, blood transfusion, tattoos, incarceration, acupuncture, prior dental or oral surgery, and HIV infection were associated with HCV Future public health efforts in Hawaii should focus on developing effective and appropriate community interventions targeting those with well-established risk factors for HCVEntities:
