Abstract
Jette AM. The Post-Stroke Rehabilitation Outcomes Project. The Post-Stroke Rehabilitation Outcomes Project (PSROP) provides an important example of the value of observational study designs in rehabilitation. The strength of the PSROP lies in the extensive, in-depth data collected on the specific rehabilitation interventions provided to patients and their relationship to short-term outcomes as well as the wide generalizability of the study's findings. Although providing valuable insights, one has to be extremely cautious in drawing direct practice recommendations from the PSROP given several internal validity threats inherent in the PSROP design.Entities:
