Abstract
Angiofibromas are nasopharyngeal tumors mostly seen in adolescent males. They account for less than 0.5% of all head and neck neoplasms. Extranasopharyngeal angiofibromas, although rare, have been reported. We report a case of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma arising from the inferior turbinate of a 62-year-old male. The tumor was excised using the Denker approach. The patient is currently free of relapse 10 months after surgery. Previous extranasopharyngeal angiofibromas research was reviewed.Entities:
