Abstract
Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) and sarcoidosis are two distinct granulomatous diseases characterized by multisystem involvement. We report a patient who initially presented with symptoms of limited WG predominantly affecting the nose, followed by a facial rash, which was histologically proven to be due to sarcoidosis. The sequential development of these two diseases in one patient is very rare, and to our knowledge, only one such case has been reported in the last 50 years (Am J Kidney Dis 28:893-898, 1996).Entities:
