Abstract
Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) has gained acceptance as a useful form of device therapy for patients with refractory congestive heart failure. Despite recent technical advances, a significant number of patients continue to remain unresponsive to this form of therapy. This article provides an overview of CRT, highlights several unresolved issues and describes ongoing research efforts to address some of these important questions.Entities:
