Abstract

BACKGROUND: Iatrogenic fetal injury during cesarean delivery is a serious but underreported complication. CASE: A distal iatrogenic amputation of a digit occurred during a cesarean delivery.
CONCLUSION: Obstetricians should be aware of this potential complication.
