Abstract
Cavernous hemangiomas of the breast are uncommon. Clinical diagnosis is rather difficult. Generally there are coincidental microscopic findings. We present a case of a 67-year-old woman which commenced as a 6 cm palpable mass of the right breast. The use of mammography, ultrasound and MRI facilitate diagnosis. Large surgical excision of the lesion was performed and histology allowed to find a cavernous hemangioma without cellular atypia.Entities:
