Abstract
We present a case of an Italian man with a particularly prolonged history of hydatid disease (more than 20 years, with six recurrences) involving both osseus (costal and vertebral) and visceral (pulmonary) sites. The main clinical problems involved in the diagnosis and management of vertebral manifestations of hydatidosis are discussed in the light of the latest clinical research.Entities:
