Abstract
A three-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique for non-invasive mapping of iron in the apoplastic fluid of plant compartments was developed. The new technique was applied to a leaf of red stem dogwood (Cornus stolonifera). The results are compared with MRI measurements of iron distributions in two dimensions and with total reflection X-ray fluorescence results.Entities:
