Abstract
Arthropathy can occasionally be an early clue to the diagnosis of hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA). Joint effusions are typically relatively non-inflammatory, while synovial membrane biopsies show a variety of vascular changes that suggest the consideration of several factors possibly involved in the pathogenesis of HOA.Entities:
