Abstract
It has been a generally held notion that the association of cyanotic congenital heart diseases with hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA) is exceptional. However, recent prospective studies have demonstrated the opposite to be true. More than a third of patients with cyanotic heart diseases have HOA. The skeletal changes are more prevalent, more persistent and more severe than in any other internal illness. The clinical features of cardiogenic HOA are here discussed.Entities:
