Creation of a pericardial window using thoracoscopic techniques.

Abstract

The aforementioned minimally invasive technique allows the surgeon to create a large pericardial window with minimal morbidity. Adequate long term drainage is provided and sufficient specimen for pathologic examination is obtained.
