Abstract
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common cause of chronic liver disease in the United States. It describes several clinicopathologic entities from simple hepatic steatosis to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
