Abstract
Tyromycin A, a new inhibitor of leucine and cysteine aminopeptidases has been isolated from mycelial cultures of the basidiomycete Tyromyces lacteus (Fr.) Murr. Its structure was established as 1,16-bis-[4-methyl-2,5-dioxo-3-furyl]hexadecane (1) by spectral analysis and transformation into ester and imide derivatives.Entities:
