[A case report on a 9-day-long abuse of propofol].

Abstract

This case report deals with the case of an alcohol-dependent, but abstinent patient, who took 3 x 5 ml/d (= 150 mg) propofol intravenously for nine days. Anxiety, inner tension and restlessness routine which had previously occurred during his daily vanished. No other psychotropic effects occurred.
