Mark O Goodarzi1, Manuel J Quiñones, Ricardo Azziz, Jerome I Rotter, Willa A Hsueh, Huiying Yang.

Abstract

In this study, the prevalence of PCOS in Mexican-Americans, derived by self-report of symptoms, was 13%, which is twice the prevalence reported in other populations. Hyperinsulinemic euglycemic clamp studies showed greater insulin resistance in the women with PCOS.
