Abstract
We describe a case of small cell carcinoma arising in the nasal cavity using combined chemotherapy with irinotecan (CPT-11)/cisplatin followed by surgical salvage which successfully avoided a radical operation. In a follow-up no local recurrence was observed over 3 years after the operation. Ours is the first report of the use of combined irinotecan (CPT-11)/cisplatin chemotherapy in small cell carcinoma of the nasal cavity.Entities:
