Unicompartmental knee replacement.

Abstract

Because of the resurgence in popularity of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, primarily as a result of the mini-incision technique, it is important to understand the advantages and disadvantages of this procedure compared with total knee arthroplasty and upper tibial osteotomy, as well as the indications and contraindications for this procedure.
