Five cases of rhinocerebral mucormycosis.

Abstract

Rhinocerebral mucormycosis is a rare and often fatal fungal infection in immunocompromised patients. We encountered three women and two men with diabetes and mucormycosis in a period of 4 years. Two of the patients died.
