Abstract
Retroperitoneal fibrosis (RPF) is usually idiopathic but sometimes secondary to underlying diseases. In this report, we describe a case of apparently idiopathic RPF associated with a mediastinal tuberculous adenopathy. After a course of antituberculous treatment, a complete resolution of both adenopathy and RPF was observed. We discuss the potential pathogenetic mechanisms linking the 2 diseases.Entities:
