Abstract
This report describes a child presenting with pulsatile tinnitus, most likely resulting from increased intracranial hypertension secondary to cerebral venous thrombosis. He was found to be homozygous for a prothrombin gene (G20210A) mutation as well as heterozygous for a factor V Leiden mutation. Physicians need to pursue and determine the cause of pulsatile tinnitus and intracranial hypertension.Entities:
