A new technique to allow placement of left ventricular lead in an inferiorly directed take-off of a coronary sinus tributary.

Sumit Verma1.

Abstract

Placement of a left ventricular lead can be particularly difficult if the take-off of the coronary sinus target vein is at an acute angle to the body of the coronary sinus. There are previously described techniques that are not applicable to all patients. This is a new technique that assists in Coronary sinus lead placement in a patient with difficult anatomy.
