Abstract
Unlike in Japan, autoimmune pancreatitis is uncommon in the Western world, particularly in Europe. We report the first case of a Caucasian male with typical features of autoimmune pancreatitis in the UK. Recognizing autoimmune pancreatitis as a new clinical entity in Europe will change the management of many patients who have been labelled as having acute or chronic pancreatitis.Entities:
