Abstract
Mitochondrial disorders caused by defects in oxidative phosphorylation function are difficult to diagnose. Here we review the emerging use of antibody-based approaches for this diagnosis. Novel methods involving immunohistochemistry and immunocapture of defective enzymes for characterization are described that add to the arsenal of approaches available.Entities:
