[Anti-infective therapy of the eye -- part 3: mycotic infections].

Abstract

This review presents the main antifungal drugs, which can be used systemically as well as topically in form of drops or intravitreal injection. In addition, the symptoms of keratomycosis and fungal endophthalmitis are briefly presented. Finally, the pros and cons of an additive application of steroids are discussed.
