Abstract
The major sex pheromone components of Drosophila ananassae and D. pallidosa, (Z,Z)-5,25-hentriacontadiene and (Z,Z)-5,27-tritriacontadiene, respectively, were synthesized by using the Wittig olefination and sulfone coupling reactions as the C-C bond-forming steps.Entities:
