Abstract
In vitro experiments supported in vivo evidence that activated charcoal is effective in adsorbing acetaminophen. In the physiologic pH range, adsorption was rapid and pH independent. Adsorption, however, was dependent upon the quantity of activated charcoal employed, becoming more complete as the quantity of activated charcoal was increased.Entities:
