Abstract
Chylopericardium is an infrequent cause of pericardial effusions after heart surgery and to our knowledge has not been reported after orthotopic transplantation. We report the occurrence of chylopericardium in a heart transplant recipient who was successfully treated with a pericardial window, pericardiocentesis, and a diet rich in medium-chain triglycerides.Entities:
