Abstract
A case of ossifying spinal lipoma is reported. The patient presented with a large swelling over the lumbar region with a dermal sinus in the centre. Imaging revealed an intradural lipoma connected with a large subcutaneous lipoma in which there was a prominent island of bone. The lipoma was excised and there were no postoperative neurological deficits. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of a spinal ossifying lipoma associated with a dermal sinus.Entities:
