Abstract
This article describes a number of aspects of liver imaging, including the main reasons for imaging of the liver; the current status and recent developments of ultrasound, CT, MR imaging, and PET; and the role of these imaging modalities in the assessment of hepatic abnormalities. Finally, a systematic review of the current relevant literature on studies that compare modalities is presented, and a strategy for the work-up of liver diseases is proposed.Entities:
