Facial percutaneous suspension.

Guillermo D Vázquez1.

Abstract

The author describes a facial percutaneous suspension technique using two 0.5-mm incisions, 4-0 monofilament nylon, and a straight needle. To improve the mandibular contour and the zygomatic area, the jowls and nasogenian fold areas are treated. It is a simple and inexpensive technique for patients who do not wish to undergo the typical surgical procedure either because they are intimidated by it or they lack the necessary recovery time.
