Abstract

It has been observed that from the sixth to the eighteenth years of life along with the age decreases the prevalence of hyperopia. A major decrease in the frequency of hyperopia occurrence among students aged between 6 and 9 years old as well as among those aged 16 and older, has been found. Significant differences between prevalence of hyperopia among boys and girls was not observed.
