Abstract
Gardnerella vaginalis causing significant infection in men is rare. We report a case of sepsis in a previously well man, who developed a perinephric abscess and empyema. G. vaginalis was isolated after prolonged culture of samples from both sites. The microbiological features of the case are discussed.Entities:
