In the present review, we present the key ocular manifestations of HIV/AIDS, mostly focusing on the clinical features and therapies of the posterior segment complications, including HIV retinitis, opportunistic infection, rare tumor and neuro-ophthalmological manifestations. Brief introduction to the following topics will also be also given in this review, including the anterior segment manifestations in HIV/AIDS, the ocular characteristics of HIV/AIDS in the developing countries, and the major procedures of HIV/AIDS prevention during clinical practice.
