Abstract
A patient with occupational asthma in the beet sugar processing industry is described. Symptomatology, skin testing, immunologic testing, and specific bronchoprovocation testing indicate exposure to moldy sugar beet pulp was the cause of the patient's occupational asthma. Cooperation between the treating physician and public health authorities is encouraged.Entities:
