Abstract
Obesity has become an increasingly prevalent public health problem and represents the complex interaction of genetic, developmental, behavioral and environmental influences. Although rare, the study of syndromic forms of obesity provides insight into underlying molecular and physiological mechanisms by which adiposity is regulated through food intake, energy expenditure and partitioning of stored calories.Entities:
