[Radiologic and clinical aspects of developmental anomalies of the chest wall].

The radiological and clinical presentations of developmental anomalies of anterior chest wall are reported. The authors describe the main diagnostic and therapeutic issues including corrective surgery, its complications and progress in diagnostic imagining. The methods and parameters used in the assessment of the degree of chest wall deformity in patients with pectus excavatum (PE) and pectus carinatum (PC) are also discussed.
