Winter's concept of moist wound healing: a review of the evidence and impact on clinical practice.

Abstract

Winter's concept of moist wound healing has had a major influence on wound care practice. This paper reviews the literature and demonstrates that the underlying wound healing process is complex and still not fully understood.
