Abstract
Organometallic strategies normally employed for the production of semiconductor quantum dots have been successfully applied to the synthesis of metal nanoparticles. By controlling parameters such as capping agents, reaction temperature and precursor chemistry, precise nanostructures can be obtained that exhibit highly desirable magnetic, optical and catalytic properties.Entities:
