Abstract
We have investigated the feasibility of an exclusively endoscopic approach to the submandibular region in four pigs, four cadavers and two women. We inflated the subplatysmal space with carbon dioxide at low pressure. The submandibular gland and the jugulodigastric region were easy to identify once the correct anatomical space had been dissected and inflated. Four endoscopic resections of the submandibular gland were done successfully.Entities:
