[Investigation of external auditory meatus secretion demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection in college students].

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the distribution of demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection in the external auditory meatus of college students, that may to guide prevention and treatment.
METHOD: Ma F. Method was applied to investigate the external auditory meatus secretion demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection on 613 college students. RESULT: Positive date were 11.58%, it was indifferent in fame or male. Cases of the external auditory meatus demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection complained constant scratching anitch (67.6%), that was more in positive cases than in negative case.
CONCLUSION: Scratching anitch in external auditory meatus may have close relationship with demodex folliculorum and demodex breuis infection.
