Abstract
We report a case of a 52-year-old man with post-surgical meningitis due to a multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii. Despite therapy with intravenous amikacin and imipenem the meningitis progressed. Upon institution of combination therapy with amikacin by the intravenous and intrathecal (IT) routes, and intravenous colistin the patient experienced successful clinical and microbiological outcomes.Entities:
