Abstract
Hypertension is a major independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. In alcohol-consuming populations, the amount of alcohol consumption has significant impact on blood pressure values, the prevalence of hypertension, and cardiovascular as well as all-cause mortality. In this review, we focus on the connection between alcohol consumption and hypertension, and discuss the consequences on cardiovascular risk.Entities:
