Abstract
Image-guided surgery (IGS) has gained considerable acceptance in rhinologic surgery. Principles of registration paradigms and registration error serve to define certain intrinsic limitations of this technology. Real-world experiences have further elucidated other concepts that may guide the appropriate use of IGS. With such knowledge, the rhinologic surgeon may incorporate IGS into a wide range of procedures.Mesh:
