Abstract
Surgical lesions of the falciform ligament are rare. Clinically, they present most often as a cystic abdominal mass, and less often as an abscess. Two cases of falciform ligament lesions are reported. The literature, histology, anatomy, clinical manifestations, and surgical management are detailed. Computerized axial tomography (CAT scan) is an essential tool in arriving at a correct preoperative diagnosis. Complete excision of the lesion is curative.Mesh:
